Hoods are a hardcore punk band from Sacramento, California. Hardcore punk (now usually referred to as simply hardcore) is a subgenre of Punk rock that originated in North America in the late 1970s After many attempts at being dropped from Victory Records, Hoods signed with Eulogy Recordings in 2005 and released their latest recording, The King Is Dead. Victory Records is a Chicago -based Record label founded by Tony Brummel Eulogy Recordings is a Record label based in Fort Lauderdale Florida. The group released a new album, Ghetto Blaster, on April 24th, 2007.
