History Book is a compilation album by Pentangle. Pentangle is a British Folk rock (or folk-jazz band The original band was active in the late 1960s and early 1970s its successor has been active since the early It was released in 1972 on Transatlantic TRASAM23. Like others of this vintage, it has a textured sleeve. It was never reissued.
