Higger Tor is a 434 m high gritstone tor in the Burbage Valley, Peak District of England. Gritstone — otherwise called Millstone grit — is a Sedimentary rock composed of coarse sand grains with inclusions of small stones A tor is a rock outcrop formed by Weathering, usually found on or near the summit of a Hill. It stands in the county of South Yorkshire, about 200 metres from the border with Derbyshire, which runs along the nearest road, approximately 2 km.
