The band was formed in 1994 after drummer Al Sobrante left the previous incarnation, The Ne'er Do Wells. John Denery ( August 8, 1969 is an American Rock and roll musician John Kiffmeyer (also known as Al Sobrante) was the original Drummer for the punk band Green Day. The Ne'er Do Wells were an American Rock and Roll band formed in Arcata California by Chris Imlay, late of Brent's T Sobrante was replaced by drummer Julie, formerly of Red #9. Julie remained with the band through the recording of the first Lookout! Records album Welcome To My Mind. Lookout! Records is an Independent record label based in Berkeley California.
