Hasilpur is a city of Bahawalpur District in east central Punjab, Pakistan. Bahawalpur District ( Urdu: بہاول پور) is one of the districts of Punjab, Pakistan. Hasilpur is as old as Bahawalpur. Bahawalpur (also Bhawalpur or Bhawulpore) (بہاولپور is the capital city of Bahawalpur District located in, Punjab Pakistan A Dawod potra by named Jogi Khan Ghumrani's son Hasil Khan settled the city with his own name in 1752. Hasil Khan built a mosque in 1768. In 1900 there were about 347 houses. Water was supplied by wells, and a small market was north to west in the town. By 1904 there was a School, Post Office and Police Station in the city. A post office is a facility authorized by a Postal system for the posting receipt sorting handling transmission or delivery of Mail. A police station (also called stationhouse) is a Building which serves as the Headquarters of a Police force or unit which serves a specific A special Rest House (Dolat Khana) for the Nawab of Bahawalpur Mohammad Sadiq Khan was also here. Bahawalpur was a Princely state of the Punjab in what is now Pakistan, stretching along the southern bank of the Sutlej and Indus Rivers In old times the crops like indigo and wheat were export to other cities. "Methi" of Hasilpur was famous in the district.
