The Harvard Asia Pacific Review (HAPR) is a semi-annual journal about the Asia-Pacific Region published by students at Harvard University. The United States of America —commonly referred to as the Phonology North American English regional phonology In many ways compared to English English, North American English is conservative in its Phonology. An International Standard Serial Number ( ISSN) is a unique eight-digit number used to identify a print or electronic Periodical publication. The Harvard Asia Pacific Review solicits contributions from leading scholars, politicians, businessmen and cultural figures in and about the Asia-Pacific region.
Founded in 1996 by a small group of Harvard students, the Harvard Asia Pacific Review now has an annual circulation of over 10,000 and is distributed widely in the United States, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region. The Harvard Asia Pacific Review has featured contributions from academics including Ezra Vogel, Larry Summers, Shing-Tung Yau, Wang Gungwu and Stephen Owen; from businessmen such as Ronnie Chan, Jin Liqun and Fred Hu; from political figures such as Jiang Zemin, Christopher Patten, Ma Ying-jeou, Wen Jiabao, Takako Doi, and Aung San Suu Kyi; and from cultural figures such as I.M. Stephen Owen PC (born September 8, 1948) is the Vice-President (VP External and Legal for the University of British Columbia.
