Harry Schachter or Harry Greenberg was an associate (and childhood friend) of Bugsy Siegel, and an employee of Charlie "Lucky" Luciano and Meyer Lansky. Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel Charles "Lucky" Luciano (born Salvatore Lucania; November 24 1897 – January 26 1962 was a Sicilian Mobster. Meyer Lansky (born Majer Suchowliński, July 4, 1902 &ndash January 15, 1983) was a gangster who with Charles On November 22, 1939, Greenberg was murdered by Bugsy Siegel and his brother-in-law, Whitey Krakow. Siegel was eventually tried for the murders of Greenberg and of Whitey Krakow, whom he had killed later; he was not convicted.
Greenberg was depicted by actor Elliot Gould in the 1991 film Bugsy. Elliott Gould (born August 29, 1938) is an Academy Award -nominated American actor Bugsy is a 1991 film which tells the story of mobster Bugsy Siegel.
