Hangedup are a post-rock group from Montreal, Canada. Post-rock is a genre of Alternative rock characterized by the use of Musical instruments commonly associated with Rock music, but using Rhythms Montreal, or Montréal in French ( pronounced in French, in English) is the largest city in the Canadian province of Quebec They are a two-piece band, featuring Genevieve Heistek (Sackville, Pest 5000) on Viola and Eric Craven (Shortwave, Sackville) on drums and percussion. Sackville is a Montreal -based project that plays what has been classified as country and pop, although their very original style resembles more folk The viola is a bowed String instrument.
