Gva'ot Bar (Hebrew: גבעות בר‎, lit. Grain Hills) is a communal settlement in the northern Negev desert of southern Israel. A communal settlement (יישוב קהילתי Yishuv Kehilati) in Israel is type of Cooperative community that in contrast to a Kibbutz or The Negev (נֶגֶב Tiberian vocalization: Néḡeḇ) is the Desert region of southern Israel. Rahat (רַהַט رهط is a city in the South District of Israel. The Bnei Shimon Regional Council (מועצה אזורית בני שמעון is a regional council in the northern Negev in the south of Israel. In 2006 it had a population of 93.

The village was established in 2004. Initially there were problems with acquiring the land from the Bedouins living in the area, but in 2004 mobile homes were moved onto the site. Mobile homes or static caravans are prefabricated homes built in factories rather than on site and then taken to the place where they will be occupied The village's name was given to it due to the wheat silos in the surrounding farms and the fact that it was located in a hilly area.
