The site originated from two separate Internet forums that focused on energy-efficient building envelope technologies, Insulating concrete forms and Structural Insulated Panels. An, or message board, is a Bulletin board system in the form of a discussion site Insulating Concrete Forms ( ICFs) are stay-in-place Formwork for energy-efficient cast-in-place reinforced-concrete walls Structural insulated panels (or structural insulating panels) SIPs are a composite Building material. In late 2006, the two sites were combined into GreenBuildingTalk, expanding participation and interaction to cover all green building methods and technologies.
