Green Apple Quick Step (GAQS) was a post-grunge band from Seattle, Washington that released a few albums in the mid-1990s and reached modest popularity worldwide through several tours. Post-grunge is a subgenre of Alternative rock that emerged in the early 1990s as a derivative of Grunge music. The 1990s collectively refers to the years between and including 1990 and 1999 Several videos appeared on MTV, and the video for the single "Dirty Water Ocean" was berated on Beavis and Butthead. MTV ( Music Television) is an American Cable television network based in New York City. A music video is a Short film or video that accompanies a complete piece of music most commonly a Song with lyrics Beavis and Butt-head is an American Animated television series created by Mike Judge.

The original Tacoma, Washington neo-punk band called Inspector Luv and the Ride Me Babys included Tyler Willman (vocals), Steve Ross (guitar), Dan Kempthorne (guitar), Bob Martin (drums) and Eric Munday (bass). They released a numbered limited edition (700 copies) EP called Another World on purple vinyl. An extended play ( EP) is a Vinyl record, CD, or Music download which contains more music than a single, but is too short to qualify The Ride me Babies disbanded after the departure of bassist Munday. Tyler found out Bassist/Vocalist MariAnn Braeden was interested in the job at the Vogue, (a local Seattle night club) and GAQS was born. A nightclub (or "night club" or "club" is a drinking, dancing, and entertainment venue which does its primary business after dark

GAQS included frontman Tyler Willman, vocals; Mari Ann Braeden, bass and vocals; Bob Martin, Drums; replaced by Geoff Reading, Danny Kempthorn, guitar; Steve Ross, Guitar; replaced by Dana Cheapskate, and others. The lead vocalist (or lead singer) is the member of a band who sings the main vocal portions of a song

The band's 1993 debut album Wonderful Virus was released on Medicine Records (a sub-label of Giant Records). Year 1993 ( MCMXCIII) was a Common year starting on Friday (link will display full 1993 Gregorian calendar)

1995 saw the Medicine release of Reloaded, with production help from Stone Gossard of Pearl Jam. Year 1995 ( MCMXCV) was a Common year starting on Sunday. Green Apple Quick Step did not release their final album, New Disaster with Columbia Records, but did appear on the soundtracks of "HomeGrown", Basketball Diaries (with "Dizzy"), and I Know What You Did Last Summer (with "Kid") before disbanding due to Willmans substance abuse problems. Columbia Records is an American Record label founded in 1888 Columbia is the oldest surviving Brand name in pre-recorded sound being the first record company The Basketball Diaries is a 1978 book written by American author and musician Jim Carroll. I Know What You Did Last Summer is a Thriller / Horror film released in 1997. Substance abuse is the overindulgence in and dependence of a Drug or other chemical leading to effects that are detrimental to the individual's physical and mental health

GAQS toured with the likes of X, Stone Temple Pilots, Iggy Pop, Rage Against the Machine, Bad Brains, Tripping Daisy, and many others,

Willman and Braeden worked with Mike McCready in $10,000 Gold Chain. Michael David McCready (born April 5 1966 in Pensacola, Florida) is an American Guitarist and Songwriter. Willman went on with Devilhead and a solo project, Calm Down Juanita.
