In 1998, it was decided by the Scottish Executive that five local schools, including Graeme High School, would be rebuilt [2]. There are three houses - Lockhart, Morrison and Steele which are all named after the first three Rectors of Graeme High School. Steele House are currently the holders of the Inter-House Cup. They are controlled by the House Captain's and Vice Captain's from each house and is lead by the three current Deputy Rector's of the school [3].
