The Governor of the British Virgin Islands is the representative of the British monarch in the United Kingdom's overseas territory of British Virgin Islands. The British Virgin Islands ( BVI) is a British overseas territory, located in the Caribbean to the east of Puerto Rico. History

The first colonial administration on the Islands was the Dutch. The Dutch Empire was the territories controlled by The Netherlands from the 17th to the 20th century England annexed the Islands in 1672. England is a Country which is part of the United Kingdom.
