Google TechTalks is a series of on-going presentations by invited speakers, sponsored by Google and given at the Google headquarters at Mountain View, California. Google Inc is an American public corporation, earning revenue from advertising related to its Internet search, e-mail, online The Googleplex is the Company headquarters for Google Inc, located at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway in Mountain View, Santa Clara County, They cover a variety of topics, from the technical to the more abstract, and include both established and speculative theories and technology.
In March 2006, Google announced that videos of the talks would be available online for free viewing on Google Video. Google Video is a free video sharing website and also a video service from Google that allows anyone to upload Video Clips to Google's web [1] [2] Most are now put on YouTube before they are put on Google Videos. YouTube is a video sharing website where users can upload view and share Video clips YouTube was created in February 2005 by three former PayPal employees Several talks have made it to slashdot, Digg, and other aggregation sites. Slashdot, often abbreviated as /, is a technology-related news Website owned by SourceForge Inc Digg is a Website made for people to discover and share content from anywhere on the Internet, by submitting links and stories and voting and commenting on submitted [3] [4]
In addition to Google TechTalks, there are also many "@ Google" talks given, including Authors@Google, Candidates@Google, Women@Google, etc. Many of these talks are also available on Google Videos and YouTube.
