The Glasgow Tigers are a BUAFL and British American Football League team located in Scotland and consisting of players from the University of Glasgow. The University of Glasgow (Oilthigh Ghlaschu was founded in 1451 in Glasgow, Scotland and along with its contemporary institutions the University of St Andrews The British Universities American Football League is the successor to the British Collegiate American Football League, which folded in 2007. The University of Glasgow (Oilthigh Ghlaschu was founded in 1451 in Glasgow, Scotland and along with its contemporary institutions the University of St Andrews Since the early 1990's the Tigers, one of the leagues oldest teams, have been the strongest and most consistent team in BCAFL's Scottish division. The Tigers won the BCAFL title in 1994.
The BCAFL Tigers are part of the Glasgow Tigers football umbrella, with teams ranging from flag and youth up to the senior team playing in the British American Football League (BAFL).
