Gill is well known for her interest in environmental issues and is the author and editor of Green Tips: How to Save Money and the Planet, a consumer guide about environmentally conscious lifestyle choices. Gill’s articles have also been published in the Montreal Gazette and Shift magazine.
Before establishing her career in journalism, Gill taught elementary school children with learning disabilities, and she pioneered a new route in New Zealand where she guided student and adult bike tours.
