Gherardo Starnina (1354 - 1403)[1] was a Florentine painter of the early Quattrocento. According to the biographer Giorgio Vasari, Starnina initially trained with Antonio Veneziano, then with Agnolo Gaddi. Giorgio Vasari ( 30 July 1511 – 27 June 1574) was an Italian painter and Architect, who is today famous Antonio Veneziano (Antonio the Venetian was an Italian painter who was active mainly in Siena, Florence and Pisa, documented between 1369 Agnolo Gaddi (born c 1350 active 1369-1396 died 1396 was an Italian painter He is claimed to have participated in the painting of the frescos in the Castellani Chapel in Santa Croce, Florence.
