Get Him Eat Him is a five-piece indie rock band from Providence, Rhode Island, formed in February of 2004. Indie rock is genre of Alternative rock that primarily exists in the independent Underground music scene Shortly after signing to Absolutely Kosher Records in the summer of 2004, the band began selling handmade CD-Rs of their demo under the title Casual Sex. Absolutely Kosher Records is an independent California-based Record label founded in 1998 in San Francisco by Cory Brown In January of 2005, the band recorded their debut album Geography Cones with Jay Pellicci (Deerhoof, Erase Errata, 31Knots) at San Francisco's Tiny Telephone Studio. Deerhoof is a San Francisco musical group currently consisting of Satomi Matsuzaki (usually vocals and bass John Dieterich (usually guitar Ed Rodriguez (usually guitar as Erase Errata is a band from San Francisco, California. They often name experimentalists such as Captain Beefheart, The Fall 31Knots is a band founded in Portland Oregon by Guitarist Joe Haege and Bassist Jay Winebrenner Mid-2005 saw the release of Geography Cones, as well as the tour-only EP The Rude Reach. The Do As I Tell You EP was released in January 2006, followed a few months later by the uniquely packaged Challenges You to a Game of Basketball EP. The band has completed four national tours, including dates with Ted Leo, Arcade Fire and Broken Social Scene.
