A Racing Homer is a Breed of pigeon that has been selectively bred for more speed and enhanced homing instinct for the sport of Pigeon [1] German Beauty Homers along with other varieties of domesticated pigeons are all descendants from the Rock Pigeon (Columba livia). The domestic pigeon ( Columba livia f domestica) was derived from the Rock Pigeon. The breed was first developed around one hundred years ago. [2]
