Gerebald[1] was bishop of Châlon-sur-Saône[2] from 864 to 885. Gerebald is another saint with essentially the same name Saint Gerbold (Saint Gerbaud (d The Bishopric of Liège or Prince-Bishopric of Liège was a state of the Holy Roman Empire in the Low Countries in present Belgium The former French Catholic diocese of Chalon-sur-Saône existed until the French Revolution. He is a Catholic[3] and Orthodox[4] saint, with feast day 12 June. Events 1381 - Peasants' Revolt: in England, rebels arrive at Blackheath.
