Career

After a stint with the Marine Corps. , he used his GI bill income to train at the Neighborhood Playhouse in NYC. Throughout the early 1950s, he was frequently seen on TV. The highlight of his stage career was a national tour of A Streetcar Named Desire as Stanley Kowalski, opposite Tallulah Bankhead as Blanche DuBois.
