The Georgia Nazarene District is the umbrella organization of Church of the Nazarene congregations in the U. The Church of the Nazarene, often referred to as the Nazarene Church is an International evangelical Christian denomination that began in S. state of Georgia. The State of Georgia ( is a state in the United States and was one of the original Thirteen Colonies that revolted against British rule It was officially created in 1915 and is led by an elected superintendent. The current district superintendent, Dr. Roy Rogers, oversees 102 Nazarene Churches located throughout the state. The Georgia District also has a Nazarene campground located in the small town of Adrian.

The district supeintendent and district treasurer work out of the district office located in McDonough, Georgia. McDonough is a city in Henry County, Georgia, United States. The population was 8493 at the 2000 census Six district offices are also filled by local pastors and layman of the Georgia district. These offices include the District Secretary, Cross-Cultural Ministries Coordinator, Sunday School Ministries Chairman, Missions President(NMI), Youth President(NYI), and the District Camp Manager.
