Personal life

George is of Japanese and Caucasian descent. His father is Hiromitsu Nozuka[2] and his mother is Holly Stern (born Holly Sedgwick). Stern's half-sister is actress Kyra Sedgwick. Kyra Minturn Sedgwick (born August 19 1965 is an Emmy -nominated and Golden Globe Award -winning American actress.

His younger brother Justin is also a musician who debuted his album Holly in 2007, and his brother Philip, an actor, has appeared on Degrassi: The Next Generation. Justin Nozuka (b September 29 1988 is a Canadian / American Singer/songwriter. Philip Hiro Nozuka is an American-Canadian actor and writer born in Queens New York but now lives in Toronto. Degrassi The Next Generation is a Canadian Teen drama television series, set in the Degrassi Fictional universe created Other family members include Christian, another musician; Henry, a dancer of modern dance and two sisters, Margaret and Sandra (Sandy).

George attended St. Andrew's College until 2002, before transferring to the Etobicoke School of the Arts to study musical theatre.
