History

The GAL. 47 was designed to be an airborne air observation post (AOP) and had a twin-boom configuration and a pusher airscrew. Twin-boom aircraft have their Tailplanes and Vertical stabilizers mounted on the tail of either two Fuselages or on two booms fixed to either both sides An Aircraft constructed with a pusher configuration has the engine mounted forward of the Propeller - which faces in a rearwards direction - giving an appearance Only one was built (test registration T-0224) in 1940 at Hanworth Aerodrome.
