Gemstones is the third solo album by Adam Green, released in 2005. Adam Green (born May 28, 1981 in Mount Kisco, New York) is an American Singer-songwriter. The album is characterised by the heavy presence of Wurlitzer piano, whereas its predecessor relied on a string section in its instrumentation. The Wurlitzer electric piano was one of a series of electromechanical stringless pianos manufactured and marketed by the Rudolph Wurlitzer Company Corinth The string section is the largest body of the standard Orchestra and consists of bowed String instruments of the Violin family.
