Honfleur-Ville was the station for the town of Honfleur, Calvados in Normandie. Honfleur is a commune in the Norman département of Calvados in France, located on the southern bank of the estuary The French department of Calvados forms part of the region of Basse-Normandie in Normandy. Normandy (Normandie Norman: Normaundie) is a geographical region corresponding to the former Duchy of Normandy. the station was the terminus for two railway lines, the main line from Paris via Brionne and the branchline from Paris via Pont-l'Évêque. Brionne is a commune in the Eure department in Haute-Normandie in northern France.
The CF de l'Ouest built the line from Pont-l'Évêque and opened it on 7 July 1862, the main line from Paris opened 8 August 1889. The Compagnie des chemins de fer de l'Ouest (CF de l'Ouest often referred to simply as L'Ouest or Ouest, was an early French Railway company The station closed in 1977 and the line to the station cut of a few hundred metres at the junction with the dock yard. A new goods yard of 8 tracks was built and is now below the Pont de Normandie. The Pont de Normandie (or Bridge of Normandy) is a cable-stayed road bridge that spans the river Seine linking Le Havre to Honfleur
