History

The school was started in 1979 following the kind donation of the land by Royapuram Trust and was later developed further in the land (fourteen grounds) donated by Sri S. J. Pothi, retired from UNO. The kind donations from G. K. Shetty led to the improvement and construction of a full-fledged school premises. The School got the ISO-9001:2000 certification on Feb 14 2006. View Certificate and is now one of the prominent schools in the Adambakkam area.

Awards

The correspondent of the school Smt. Girija Seshadri, who is also the principal of Jaigopal Garodia Hindu Vidyalaya Matric H. S. School, West Mambalam, was bestowed

  1. National Best Teacher Award in 2002 [1]. The award was presented by the President of India Hon. The President of India or Rashtrapati ( Hindi: राष्ट्रपति a Sanskrit Neologism, lit Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam
  2. Dr. Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam (அவுல் பகீர் ஜைனுலாப்தீன் அப்துல் கலாம் born October 15 1931 Tamil Nadu Radhakrishnan award for the best teacher on 5 Sept 1997 by the Tamil Nadu Government. The award was presented by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Shri M Karunanidhi.
  3. SEVA RATNA Award. The award was presented by the former President of India Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma. Education
