Fueled By Ramen is a record label started by John Janick and Vinnie Fiorello (drummer and lyricist of Less Than Jake) in August of 1996 in Gainesville, Florida. Vinnie Fiorello is the Drummer, Lyricist and founding member of the Ska punk band Less Than Jake. Fueled By Ramen moved to Tampa, Florida in the latter half of 2004. At the beginning of 2007, FBR opened an office in New York. [1] FBR is currently looking into offices in Chicago and plans to start a base there.
On December 22, 2006, Vinnie Fiorello announced on his blog that he had left Fueled By Ramen, claiming that, as the label grew, "style was outweighing substance.
