Fritz Guy (1930—) is professor emeritus of theology and philosophy at La Sierra University in Riverside,California. Founded in 1922 La Sierra University formerly known as La Sierra College, is a private co-educational Christian university located in inland Southern California He has worked as a pastor, theologian and university president. In a 1985 questionnaire of North American Adventist lecturers, Guy tied for fourth place among the Adventist authors who had most influenced them. The Seventh-day Adventist Church in North America is officially organized as the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists. [1]

Guy received a PhD in Christian theology from the University of Chicago in 1971. The University of Chicago is a Private university located principally in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago.
