Frederick MacDonald "Fred" Quayle (born February 16, 1936 in Suffolk, Virginia) is an American politician and Republican State Senator who represents the 13th District in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Personal

Quayle grew up in Suffolk, VA and graduated from Suffolk High School in 1954. He earned a B. A. in economics at the University of Virginia in 1959, where he was an accomplished lacrosse player and a member of the now defunct Phi Kappa Sigma fraternity. Quayle studied law at T. C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond and earned his LL. B. in 1966. He currently resides in Suffolk, VA.

He also teaches Political Science at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. Political science is a branch of Social sciences that deals with the theory and practice of Politics and the description and analysis of Political systems Old Dominion University (ODU is a large public Research university located in historic Norfolk Virginia.
