Fratzog was the name of the emblem used by Chrysler Corporation's Dodge Division from September 1962 though 1976. Chrysler LLC is an American Automobile manufacturer that has been producing Automobiles since 1925 Dodge is a United States -based brand of Automobiles Sport utility vehicles and Trucks manufactured and marketed by Chrysler LLC It was composed of three arrowhead shapes forming a 3-pointed star. When Dodge stylists designed it in the early 1960s, they had to have a name for it, and one of the designers came up with the meaningless name 'Fratzog', which ultimately stuck. [1][2]
As the Dodge Division's logo, Fratzog was incorporated in various badges and emblems on Dodge vehicles. It was also integrated into the design of such parts as steering wheel center hubs and road wheel covers.
