Frank Lavin (Franklin L. Lavin) is a native of Canton, Ohio. Canton is a city in the US state of Ohio and the County seat of Stark County. As Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade, Lavin headed the International Trade Administration for the United States Department of Commerce from 2005 until 2007. The United States Department of Commerce is the Cabinet department of the United States government concerned with promoting Economic growth [1][2]
