Fota Island (Oileán Fhóta in Irish) is a small island in Cork Harbour, Ireland, just north of the larger island of Cóbh. Irish (ga ''Gaeilge'' is a Goidelic language of the Indo-European language family originating in Ireland and historically spoken by the Irish. Cork Harbour is a natural Harbour and river Estuary at the mouth of the River Lee in County Cork, Ireland.
