Fort Dayton is located North side of Mohawk River at West Canada Creek in what is now Herkimer, New York. The Mohawk River is a long River in the US state of New York. West Canada Creek is a small River in upstate New York, USA. West Canada Creek drains the south part of the Adirondack Mountains and drains into Herkimer is a Village in Herkimer County New York, about southeast of Utica.
