Organized on November 18, 1973, the Forsyth County Beekeepers Association of NC (FCBA) is a nonprofit 501(c)(5) chapter of the North Carolina State Beekeepers Association, Inc. North Carolina ( is a state located on the Atlantic Seaboard in the southeastern United States There were 38 charter members.
Mission Statement
The mission of the FCBA is to promote honey bees and healthy beekeeping practices in their county. This article refers collectively to all true honey bees for the "common" domesticated honey bee see European honey bee Honey bees They aim to train beekeepers in practical, successful, and responsible beekeeping practices and foster closer relationships amongst beekeepers. A beekeeper is a person who keeps Honey bees for the purposes of securing commodities such as Honey, Beeswax, Pollen; pollinating Furthermore, they seek to educate the general public about the benefits of bees to our ecology, the wonderful products of the hive, and to increase their fascination of the insect they love so much.
