Forest Glen Station is one of two Metra commuter railroad stations in the Forest Glen section of Chicago, Illinois, along the Milwaukee District/North Line. Union Station is a Chicago Train station that opened in 1925 replacing an earlier 1881 station and is now the only Intercity rail terminal in Chicago Fox Lake is a village in Grant Township, Lake County Illinois and Richmond Township, McHenry County Illinois. In Metra's zone-based fare system, Forest Glen is in zone C.
The station is little more than an open sheltered platform, and is located south of the Cook County Forest Preserve. On-Street parking is available along Forest Glen Avenue and North LeClaire Avenue between Elston and north of Balmoral Avenue. The main parking lot for the station exists between Balmoral and Catalpa Avenues. No bus connections are available at Forest Glen Station.
