Specifications

The system runs on 1,151 compute nodes each which run two quad-core processors with four gigabytes of memory. Each node is connected to a high-speed, low-latency Infiniband fabric. InfiniBand is a Switched fabric communications link primarily used in High-performance computing. The supercomputer ranks 43 of 500 in the Top 500 Supercomputing Sites list. [1][2]
