The Ferndale Imperial Club is located on Rhondda Road in Ferndale, Rhondda Cynon Taff, South Wales. Ferndale ( Welsh: Glynrhedynog, or Trerhondda) is a small town located in the Rhondda Valley in the County borough of Rhondda History The county borough was formed on 1 April 1996, by the merger of the former Mid Glamorgan districts of Cynon Valley, South Wales (De Cymru is an area of Wales bordered by England and the Bristol Channel to the east and south and Mid Wales and West Wales The club is run by a committee. The club has more than a hundred people passing through each month and has been around for more than fifty years.
The Ferndale Imperial Club has a number of sports teams. They have one of the finest snooker tables in the Rhondda and a Snooker team that is currently in the second devison of the Rhondda League. Snooker is a Cue sport that is played on a large Baize -covered table with pockets in each of the four corners and in the middle of each of the long They have a Darts on Sunday nights. They also have a football team, Ferndale Imperial Football Club, which will be making their league debut in the Rhondda District Sunday League next season.
