Feltham was an urban district in Middlesex, England from 1904 to 1965. The London Borough of Hounslow ( is a London borough in West London, England. In the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, an urban district was a type of Local government district that covered an Urbanised area Middlesex is one of the 39 historic counties of England and the second smallest by area. England is a Country which is part of the United Kingdom. Its inhabitants account for more than 83% of the total UK population whilst its mainland

It was based on the parish of Feltham, which had previously been part of the Staines Rural District. Feltham is a town in the London Borough of Hounslow. It is located about 13 miles (21 km west-southwest of central London at Charing Cross, 2 miles (3 Staines was a Rural district of Middlesex in England from 1894 to 1935 In 1930, the Rural District was disbanded, and the parishes of East Bedfont and Hanworth added to Feltham. East Bedfont (or simply Bedfont is a small suburban town in Greater London, some to the west of central London and only from Heathrow Airport. Hanworth lies to the south east of Feltham in the London Borough of Hounslow and the name is thought to come from the Anglo Saxon words “haen” and “worth”

It was abolished under the London Government Act 1963, in 1965, to form part of the new London Borough of Hounslow, in Greater London.
