The faculty can grant Postgraduate qualifications to dentists, including the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MFDS) (currently being phased out), the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at The Royal College of Surgeons of England (MJDF) (currently being phased in), the Diploma in Dental Public Health, Diploma in Special Care Dentistry, the Membership in Restorative Dentistry and the Membership in Surgical Dentistry.
