History
Inter Bratislava was founded in 1940 by the Apollo refinery which was later renamed Slovnaft. Year 1940 ( MCMXL) was a Leap year starting on Monday (link will display the full 1940 calendar of the Gregorian calendar. A refinery is composed of a group of Chemical engineering unit processes and Unit operations used for Refining certain materials or converting Slovnaft is the largest Oil refinery in Slovakia. It was established in 1957 in Bratislava. Inter established itself as one of the strongest teams in the Czechoslovakian league a tradition which has been carried on into the independent state of Slovakia. Czechoslovakia may also refer to what is now the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In 1976, Inter sent one player to the triumphant European championship winning side in the former Yugoslavia, Ladislav Jurkemik. The 1976 UEFA European Football Championship final tournament was held in Yugoslavia.
