Eupatorieae is a tribe of over 2000[3] species of plants in the aster family. Plants are living Organisms belonging to the kingdom Plantae. The flowering plants or angiosperms ( Angiospermae or Magnoliophyta) are the most widespread group Dicotyledons, or "dicots", is a name for a group of Flowering plants whose Seed typically has two embryonic leaves or Cotyledons There The Asterales are an order of Dicotyledonous Flowering plants which include the composite family Asteraceae ( Sunflowers daisies The family Asteraceae or Compositae (known as the aster, daisy, or sunflower family) is the largest family of Flowering Count Alexandre Henri Gabriel de Cassini (1781-1832 was a French Botanist and naturalist, who specialised in the sunflower family ( Asteraceae) (then known The related genus Eupatorium also contains plants called "snakeroot" Brickellia is a Genus of about 100 species of Plants in the sunflower family (Asteraceae known commonly as brickellbushes. UserPolbot. --> Critonia is a genus of Flowering plant in the Asteraceae family Eupatorium is a Genus of Flowering plants containing from 36 to 60 Species depending on the classification system Eutrochium is a genus of herbaceous flowering plants in Asteraceae Fleischmannia is a genus of Flowering plant in the Asteraceae family UserPolbot. --> Hebeclinium is a genus of Flowering plant in the Asteraceae family UserPolbot. --> Koanophyllon is a genus of Flowering plant in the Asteraceae family Liatris (common names Blazing-star, Gay-feather or Button snakeroot) is a genus of Ornamental plants in the Asteraceae Mikania is a genus of about 450 species in the family of Asteraceae. UserPolbot. --> Ophryosporus is a genus of Flowering plant in the Asteraceae family Stevia is a Genus of about 240 Species of herbs and Shrubs in the sunflower family ( Asteraceae) native to Subtropical In Biology, a tribe &mdashor infrafamily&mdashis a Taxonomic rank between family and Genus. The tribe includes both Northern Hemisphere and Southern Hemisphere plants. Northern Hemisphere is the half of a Planet that is North of the Equator —the word hemisphere literally means 'half ball' Southern Hemisphere is the half of a Planet that is South of the Equator —the word hemisphere literally means 'half ball' Well-known members are Stevia rebaudiana (known for its sweet leaves), a number of medicinal plants (for example in Eupatorium), and a variety of late summer to autumn blooming garden flowers, including Ageratum and Conoclinium (mistflower). Stevia is a Genus of about 240 Species of herbs and Shrubs in the sunflower family ( Asteraceae) native to Subtropical Herbalism is a traditional Medicinal or Folk medicine practice based on the use of Plants and Plant extracts Herbalism is also known as Eupatorium is a Genus of Flowering plants containing from 36 to 60 Species depending on the classification system

Plants in this tribe have only disc florets (no ray florets) and petals which are white, slightly yellowish off-white, pink, or purple (never a full yellow). [4][5]

Within the aster family, the Eupatorieae are nested within what has traditionally been the Heliantheae (broadly defined). The family Asteraceae or Compositae (known as the aster, daisy, or sunflower family) is the largest family of Flowering The tribe Heliantheae is the most familiar tribe of the Sunflower family ( Asteraceae) Because this leads to a paraphyletic Heliantheae, various authors have proposed either making the Eupatorieae a subtribe within the Heliantheae, or breaking the Heliantheae into a dozen or so tribes. In Phylogenetics, a group of organisms is said to be paraphyletic if the group contains its most recent common ancestor but does not contain all [4]
