Erisos (Έρισος) is a municipality in Kefalonia, Greece. The island of Kefalonia, also known as Cephallenia, Cephallonia, Kefallinia, or Kefallonia (Ancient Greek Κεφαλληνία Modern Greece (Ελλάδα transliterated: Elláda, historically, Ellás,) officially the Hellenic Republic (Ελληνική Δημοκρατία It is located in the northernmost part of the island, and has a land area of 78. 114 km². It population was 1,963 at the 2001 census. The seat of the municipality is in Vasilikiades (pop. 124). Its largest towns are Fiskárdon (pop. 225), Antipáta (158), Mesovoúnia (136), Vasilikiádes, Ásos (122), and Komitáta (121).
