She previously hosted Breakfast Television on Citytv Winnipeg alongside Jon Ljungberg from August 4, 2005 to March 23, 2007. Breakfast Television, also known as BT, is a Canadian morning news and entertainment program which airs on the Citytv stations (in CHMI-TV is a Television station licensed to Portage la Prairie Manitoba, Canada, with most of its operations in Winnipeg. Jon Ljungberg is a Winnipeg television personality most known as the host of Breakfast Television (formerly The Big Breakfast) on Citytv Winnipeg Before signing on with Citytv, she was a weather anchor for Global News Montreal and the consumer watch reporter for CTV Winnipeg. CKY-TV (also commonly known as CTV Winnipeg) is a Television station based in Winnipeg Manitoba and owned by CTVglobemedia. She also appeared in several movies as a reporter, including The Art of War with Wesley Snipes. Wesley Trent Snipes (born July 31, 1962) is an American Actor, Film producer, and Martial artist.

She is currently the MLA for the NDP in the riding of Southdale after being elected in the 2007 Manitoba provincial election. The New Democratic Party of Manitoba is a social democratic political party in Manitoba, Canada. Southdale is a provincial electoral division in the Canadian province of Manitoba. The Manitoba general election held on May 22 2007 was held to elect Members of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Manitoba
