Eridge railway station serves a rural district around Eridge in East Sussex. Rotherfield is a village and Civil parish in the Wealden District of East Sussex, England East Sussex is a county in South East England. It is bordered by the counties of Kent, Surrey and West Sussex, and to the Train services from the station are provided by Southern, and the station is on the Uckfield branch of the Oxted Line. Southern is a train operating company in England, running to south London, Surrey, and Sussex from Victoria and London The Oxted Line is a Railway line in southern England It was originally operated jointly by the London Brighton and South Coast Railway and the South Eastern There are good opportunities for walks from the station into the High Weald. The Weald (wɪəld is the name given to a physiographic area in south-east England situated between the parallel Chalk Escarpments of the North
The station has a small car park (charges Monday - Saturday), and there is a pub outside the station entrance.

Eridge was also the station where Cuckoo Line services towards Eastbourne diverged from the Uckfield and Lewes line.
