Eric Bolling is a financial news television personality. He was known as "The Admiral" on the CNBC business show Fast Money. CNBC (an abbreviation for the " C onsumer N ews and B usiness C hannel" its official name until 1991 is a cable and Bolling left CNBC in August 2007 and moved to the new Fox Business Network as one of the network's financial analysts. [1].

Bolling is also a commodities trader on the New York Mercantile Exchange. The New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX is the World 's largest physical Commodity Futures exchange, located in New York City. He specializes in trading natural gas and crude oil. Natural gas is a Gaseous Fossil fuel consisting primarily of Methane but including significant quantities of Ethane, Propane, Petroleum ( L petroleum, from Greek πετρέλαιον, lit It has been reported that Bolling accounts for up to 5% of total volume in the natural gas futures floor. After spending 5 years on the Board Of Directors at the NYMEX, Bolling became a strategic advisor to the Exchange’s Board of Directors. He has been included in Trader Monthly Top 100 in 2005 and 2006. Trader Monthly is a lifestyle magazine for financial traders founded by Magnus Greaves, edited by Randall Lane and chaired by Jim Dunning under the company Doubledown Media Bolling was the recipient of the Maybach Man of the Year Award at the Trader Monthly Awards, January 17, 2007. Bolling graduated from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. Rollins College is a liberal arts college located in Winter Park Florida, United States, a suburb of Orlando Florida. Winter Park is a city in Orange County, Florida, United States. and was awarded a fellowship at Duke University. Duke University is a private Research University located in Durham, North Carolina, United States. Bolling was an accomplished baseball player and was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Pittsburgh Pirates are a Major League Baseball club based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Bolling's playing career was cut short due to injuries. Bolling honors his baseball past by sporting a NYMEX traders badge of R. B. I.
