Energy Saving Trust (EST) is a non-profit organisation jointly funded by the British Government and the private sector in order to promote the sustainable use of energy, energy conservation, and to cut carbon dioxide emissions in the United Kingdom. Her Majesty's Government, or when the monarch is male His Majesty's Government, is the title used by the Government of the United Kingdom, based at Sustainable energy is the provision of energy such that it meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs Energy conservation is the practice of decreasing the quantity of energy used This is a list of sovereign states by carbon dioxide emissions due to human activity The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, commonly known as the United Kingdom, the UK or Britain,is a Sovereign state located The Trust was established following the 1992 Earth Summit.

The activities of the Trust include the management of phase 1 of the Low Carbon Building Programme and the provision of free advice on how to save energy. The Low Carbon Building Programme (LCBP is a Government programme in the United Kingdom administered by BERR (formerly the DTI) The Trust runs a network of local/regional advice centres across the UK.
