Elp (52°53′N, 6°39′E) is a town in the Dutch province of Drenthe. The Netherlands ( Dutch:, ˈnedərlɑnt is the European part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, which consists of the Netherlands the Netherlands Drenthe is a province of the Netherlands, located in the north-east of the country It is a part of the municipality of Midden-Drenthe, and lies about 15 km south of Assen. Midden-Drenthe ( is a Municipality in the northeastern Netherlands. Assen ( is a Municipality and a City in the north eastern Netherlands, capital of the Province of Drenthe.

In 2001, the town of Elp had 264 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0. 20 km², and contained 105 residences. [1] The statistical area "Elp", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 410. [2]
