Karl helped Elle fight her post traumatic stress and things were looking good for her and Riley. That is until new girl Heather Pryor came along. Heather and Riley instantly hit it off and are now dating which pushed Elle into the background.
After the mine collapse Elle came to see Riley at the hospital and apoligised for the way she treated him after the dance party roof collapse. She told him that whenever she saw his face it bought back the terrifying memories. Riley then asked her where that left them, Elle told him, in the same place. . . just good friends. Riley looked a bit upset but recovered and then she left.
Elle now is starting to fall for her ex, Oliver, who is living with them again.
Elle has discovered the her father Paul's recent affair with Kirsten Gannon (Nikola Dubois) and forced Kirsten to end it before Rebecca found out, and so she did.
Susan told Rebecca while she was wearing the wedding dress, and then after that Oliver and Declan found out and Oliver Broke up with Elle.
