The Electoral district of Swan Hill is a rural Lower House electoral district of the Victorian Parliament. The Legislative Assembly, or lower house is one of the two chambers of the Parliament of Victoria in Australia The Parliament of Victoria is a Bicameral, or two-house legislature It is located within the Northern Victoria Region of the Legislative Council . Swan Hill includes the country towns of Birchip, Charlton, Donald, Kerang, Murtoa, St Arnaud, Sea Lake, Swan Hill, Warracknabeal, Wedderburn and Wycheproof. Natural features of the electorate include Lake Tyrrell and the Murray River, which is a popular tourist destination and the centre of a flourishing irrigation area. Farming and agriculture are important industries throughout the region.

Swan Hill has held been held by the National/Country Party since 1952 apart from a ten year gap in 1973-1983. The National Party of Australia is an Australian political party.
